All-Girl MÖTLEY CRÜE Tribute Band GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS To Headline First New York CRÜEFEST

October 15, 2007

New York City will stage its first ever Crüefest, a music benefit sanctioned by MÖTLEY CRÜE to raise funds for Vince Neil's Skylar Neil Memorial Fund; Nikki Sixx's Running Wild in the Night foundation; St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Tommy Lee's charity of choice; and the Spondylitis Association of America, Mick Mars' charity of choice. The Skylar Neil Memorial Fund was established by singer Vince Neil in memory of his daughter, Skylar, who died of cancer at age four in 1995. So far it has raised nearly $1 million for research into pediatric cancer, leukemia and AIDS.

The annual Crüefest began in 2001 in Hollywood. It is now held in locations across the globe, including Australia; and from coast to coast in North American cities, such as Dallas, Chicago and Orlando. The festival was organized by the fans and for the fans, celebrating the classic and always popular heavy metal music MÖTLEY CRÜE unleashed onto the world. It will include original bands influenced by the wildly beloved group, as well as one MÖTLEY CRÜE tribute band headlining the event. The day showcases music that CRÜE fans can appreciate, and also offers chances to win some exciting prizes. Every cent raised for this important cause goes directly to the designated charities.

New York City newcomers GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS, the world's first and only all-girl MÖTLEY CRÜE tribute band, will headline this eagerly awaited festival. GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS broke onto the music scene in April of this year (after forming in February '07) and has been electrifying audiences with their total command of this head-banging music. The band is quickly building a dedicated and frenzied following, headlining in tri-state clubs and picking up new fans daily on the Internet. See www.myspace.com/girlsgirlsgirlsnyc. Other groups that will be appearing at Crüefest New York include CRASH MIDNIGHT from Massachusetts; from New York City, SICK AS MONDAY, as well as THE STRIP CLUB DEVILS; ROCKETS TO RUIN out of Georgia; Albany's THE EROTICS; and all the way from the UK, JACKVIPER.
